We are an all-volunteer string orchestra,
making music
simply for the joy of doing so.
DUSO performs a wide array of String Orchestra music and amazing arrangements by a local composer. We thrive on playing true classical music, contemporary pieces, and audience pleasing movie and pops music.
(Pops pieces are typically performed at our final concert of the season.)
We like to feature the talents of our current musicians by hosting fall and spring solo or ensemble recitals. We love seeing the mixture of music performed on these evenings.
As an outreach to the community, we perform twice a year at the Galleria Mall for Spring and Christmas performances.
